The space

A fully renovated one-bedroom apartment in the heart of Chevy Chase / Friendship Heights — a 7-minute walk to the Metro & bus station and to plenty of shopping and dining.

Beautiful modern finishes and new furniture throughout, a fully equipped kitchen, and a dedicated workspace with an Apple computer and printer. A private entrance and an in-unit laundry room (new washer/dryer and iron) make longer stays easy, and families are welcome — a high chair is on hand. It's a secondary unit of our own house, in one of DC's safest and greenest neighborhoods. Comfortably sleeps five.

“A beautiful space in a beautiful neighborhood! I had a wonderful time staying here, everything was clean and cozy. Public transportation was very close and convenient for getting to downtown DC and I greatly enjoyed my stay.”

“Great little place, especially for a couple or solo traveler. The location is beautiful and quiet with easy access to shops and restaurants. The hosts live upstairs and are responsive to any requests or needs. The house take care to leave basic amenities and thoughtful supplies such as coffee creamer and a welcome basket, which is always very nice.”

The neighborhood

Friendship Heights — one of DC's most walkable, upscale neighborhoods, right on the Red Line at the top of the District.

You're steps from the shops and restaurants along Wisconsin Avenue, in one of the city's greenest, safest residential pockets, with Rock Creek Park close by. The Friendship Heights Metro is a short walk, and the Red Line is a one-seat ride straight downtown — no transfers — with Bethesda just one stop north and Georgetown a quick drive down Wisconsin Avenue.
